The Fast and the Furious franchise is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. While we patiently wait for more news about the next and possibly final film, Fast Forever, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that Universal is taking the opportunity to release yet another limited-edition steelbook of the movie that started it all. The new 4K Ultra HD remaster is set to release on August 25, just after the movie's official anniversary on August 21, with both a limited-edition and standard steelbook now available to preorder. While Amazon has both editions up for preorder at $34.99 and $29.99, respectively, you can get either edition for about $5 less by ordering through Gruv. The steelbook comes with a newly remastered 4K Ultra HD edition of The Fast and the Furious as well as a code to download a digital copy of the film. It also comes with over two hours of bonus features (more on that below). The steelbook’s slip case features some street-racing action with Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner in his 1994 Toyota Supra and Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto in his 1970 Dodge Charger R/T. Removing the slipcase reveals a pretty wholesome image of the first film’s cast. Open up the steelbook
