The Spacer's Choice Edition of the game is getting update and will remain available The original version of The Outer Worlds will be delisted on PC and current-generation consoles on May 27. Thankfully, the excellent Obsidian Entertainment sci-fi RPG isn't going away completely. The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition will still be available and is getting some substantial new updates. On April 30, a Steam post outlined upcoming updates for Spacer's Choice Edition. After it teased what the updates contained, the announcement notes that the original version of The Outer Worlds will be delisted on certain platforms. While the basic version of The Outer Worlds will remain for sale on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One, players on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X will only be able to buy Spacer's Choice Edition after May 27. As a result of the changes, the price of The Outer Worlds will drop to $24.99 on PS4 and Xbox One, while each DLC will drop in price to $14.99. An upgrade to the Spacer's Choice Edition will be available for free to those who already own the base game and its DLC. For everyone else, Spacer's Choice Edition will cost $39.99.
