Tyrus on the Teaching Job That Changed His Life | Planet Tyrus
Before WWE, Fox News, and Planet Tyrus, there was another chapter of Tyrus’ life that most fans have never heard: his time as a teacher and recreation therapist working with kids in group homes. In this episode of Planet Tyrus, Tyrus opens up about how physical education, sports, play, discipline, and patience helped him connect with children who had been through unimaginable challenges. Tyrus shares how teaching changed his view of success, why play can be a powerful tool for learning, and how moments in the classroom still mean as much to him as anything he has done on television or in wrestling. From basketball leagues and football games to tough love, foster care, and the emotional cost of saying goodbye, this is one of Tyrus’ most personal stories yet. Learn more about your ad choices.
