Meta’s new Ray-Ban smart glasses have twice the battery life

Meta has announced a new generation of its Ray-Ban smart glasses, the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2. The key improvements include: - Significantly better battery life, with up to 8 hours of use on a single charge and 48 hours of additional battery life from the charging case. - Improved charging, with the ability to charge the glasses to 50% in just 20 minutes. - The ability to record 3K video at 30fps, 1440p at 30fps, and 1200p at 60fps, for up to 3 minutes. - Upcoming features like "conversation focus" to boost the voice of the person you're talking with, and expanded live translation support for German and Portuguese. The new Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 smart glasses are available to order starting today, with prices starting at $379. The previous generation glasses will also remain available, starting at $299.
