You can now try Fortnite directly in Discord

Epic Games is offering Fortnite players a chance to try the game directly within Discord, powered by Nvidia's GeForce Now cloud gaming service. The feature provides two 30-minute trial sessions per week to Discord users who don't have Fortnite installed on their PC. The Fortnite trial will be available until October 30th, with sessions updated every Tuesday. The demos are accessible by clicking the sign-up link on Epic's announcement page and then connecting to Discord. Availability is limited to PC players in the US, UK, Mexico, Canada, and several European countries. Players do not need to install Fortnite to try the demos, but they must be signed into both their Discord and Epic Games accounts. Epic states that it does not share players' data with Nvidia or Discord, but the companies may independently collect it. This is the first of Nvidia and Discord's instant game demo experiments, which may lead to more titles being available for instant trial in the future.
