This Horror Game From A Halo And Destiny Writer Will Kick Off A New Connected Universe

Ire: A Prologue, a new horror game from ProbablyMonsters, is set to kick off a connected horror universe. The game is led in part by CJ Cowan, who previously worked on the Halo and Destiny franchises. In Ire: A Prologue, players take on the role of a young girl named Emily who finds herself trapped in a time loop on a boat, with a monster called the Drüdgen roaming the halls. The game is inspired by titles like Alien: Isolation and Amnesia, with the monster's AI-driven behavior and the player's need to hide and outwit it. The game will feature a safe space hub where players can explore lore items found during their loops. Ire: A Prologue is set to release on October 28 for PC, with a free demo available on Steam starting October 13.
