Share a tip on a city break in Europe

Tell us about your favourite break in a less obvious European city or town – the best tip wins £200 towards a Coolstays break Europe’s famous cities are often blighted by overtourism at certain times of year. So we’d like to hear about your trips to less well-known cities and towns, the hotels you stayed in, the museums and clubs you visited and the restaurants and cafes that refuelled you. Whether it was the Renaissance glory of Ferrara, or bustling half-timbered Rennes that won you over, please share your tips. The best tip of the week, chosen by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet wins a £200 voucher to stay at a Coolstays property – the company has more than 3,000 worldwide. The best tips will appear in the Guardian Travel section and website. If you have a relevant photo, do send it in – but it’s your words we will be judging for the competition.
