Meta unveils its second-gen Ray-Ban smart glasses at Connect

Meta has unveiled its second-generation Ray-Ban smart glasses, with several upgrades over the previous model. The new glasses, starting at $379, feature improved battery life, a 12-megapixel camera, and 3K Ultra HD video capture. The glasses also offer water resistance and 32GB of storage. Additionally, Meta has introduced a "conversation focus" feature to help users hear voices better in live environments, which will be available for both the first and second-generation models. However, a demo of "live AI" during the announcement event did not go as planned. The second-generation Ray-Ban Meta glasses are now available for purchase in several countries, while the first-generation model will continue to be sold alongside the new version.
