Man shot in Toxteth cafe in 'dangerous and reckless act'

A man is in hospital after being shot in a cafe. It happened on Lodge Lane in Liverpool at about 17:00 BST on Friday, Merseyside Police said. The man's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, the force added.
