Snapchat can automatically let a trusted friend know you got home safe

Snapchat has introduced a new feature called "Home Safe" that allows users to automatically notify a trusted friend when they have arrived home safely. The feature is designed to provide an additional layer of safety and security, especially for users who may be concerned about their wellbeing after an outing or a first date. To use the feature, users must first share their location with the friend they want to notify and set their home location in the Snap Map. Thereafter, they can simply tap the "Home Safe" button when they reach home, and their friend will receive a one-time notification. The feature is part of Snapchat's ongoing efforts to enhance the safety and security of its platform, which has also included the introduction of live location sharing and new location tracking abilities in its Family Center.
