Want to try the next Windows 11 version? It’s now available to download

Microsoft has made the ISO files for the next major version of Windows 11, known as Windows 11 25H2, available for download. The ISO files are available for the x64 (Intel and AMD PCs) and Arm64 (Snapdragon PCs) architectures, as well as the Home, Pro, and Education Editions, in 38 languages. The ISO files are considered the RTM (Released To Manufacturing) version, which means this is the official version that Microsoft will be sending to PC manufacturers. However, Microsoft no longer officially uses the term RTM. The build number of the Windows 11 25H2 RTM ISO is Build 26200.6584, and the download size is around 7GB for the x64 version and slightly smaller for the Arm64 version. For users running Windows 11 24H2, Microsoft has also provided an "enablement package" that allows a direct upgrade to Windows 11 25H2 without the need for the ISO file. This is a recommended option as it is a smaller download and faster upgrade process. While the ISO files and enablement packages are now available, Microsoft has not yet officially released Windows 11 25H2. However, when it is officially released, users on Windows 11 24H2 PCs will be offered the enablement package via Windows Update, allowing them to easily upgrade to the new version.
