Google Search AI Mode is now available in more languages and regions

Google has expanded the availability of its AI Mode feature in Search to 40 new regions and 35 new languages, including Arabic, Chinese, and Russian. The feature, powered by Google's Gemini model, allows for advanced reasoning and multimodal understanding to provide more accurate and natural-sounding responses to user queries. The expansion comes two months after the initial rollout in the US, and Google plans to continue adding more capabilities to AI Mode. However, some online publishers have expressed concerns about declining web traffic as users are less likely to click on website links when presented with AI Mode summaries at the top of the search results page.
