Two boys seriously injured after falling off e-scooter in Paisley

Two boys have been taken to hospital after they fell off an electric scooter in Paisley. Police Scotland said the children, aged 10 and 12, were found seriously injured on the town's High Street at about 21:15 on Monday. They are currently being treated at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. Officers have appealed for anyone who saw the boys on the e- scooter or who witnessed the incident to get in touch. Sgt Adnan Alam also urged anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage to contact the force. Police seize 27 illegal vehicles as officers try tackle anti-social behaviour. Police said the operation targeted e-motorcycles, adapted e-bikes and e-scooters, as well as petrol motorcycles across the city.
