Adib, a bariatric surgeon who runs an obesity clinic at the private Wesley hospital in Brisbaneâs western suburbs, attended the Southport police station on the Gold Coast voluntarily on Friday. He was charged with three counts of rape, two counts of deprivation of liberty and one count of sexual assault. Adib was granted police bail and will face court at a later date.
