Mike Vrabel told reporters he had to have "difficult conversations" with his family and team after the New York Post published photos of him hugging and holding hands with Athletic reporter Dianna Russini at an Arizona resort earlier this month. "I've had some difficult conversations with people I care about, with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players," Vrabel said at a pre-draft press conference Tuesday. "Those have been positive and productive. We believe in order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me. That starts with me." The tone of those remarks contrasts with the statement he gave the Post when the photos first surfaced.
