Forza Horizon 6 is set in Japan and arrives in 2026

Forza Horizon 6, the next installment in the popular racing game franchise, is set to be released in 2026. The game will be developed by Playground Games and will feature an open-world setting in Japan, including the neon-lit cityscape of Tokyo. The announcement was made during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show stream, where a teaser trailer was shown. The game will launch initially on Xbox and PC, with a PlayStation 5 version planned for release post-launch. Forza Horizon 6 is part of a busy upcoming year for Xbox, which will also see the release of Gears of War: E-Day, a Halo CE remaster, and Playground Games' Fable. The announcement comes a year after the release of Forza Horizon 5, which became one of the most popular PS5 games this year.
