Razer’s Kiyo V2 webcam debuts with (surprise!) integrated AI
Razer has launched the second generation of its Kiyo webcams, the Kiyo V2 and Kiyo V2 X, featuring integrated AI capabilities from Camo's software. The Kiyo V2 captures 4K video at 30 fps, while the Kiyo V2 X offers 1440p resolution at 60 fps. Both webcams include an 8.3-megapixel Starvis sensor from Sony, autofocus, and a configurable wide-angle field of view. The Kiyo V2's selling point is its "one-click image enhancement" feature, which uses Camo's AI tools to automatically adjust white balance, exposure, and noise reduction. The webcams are marketed towards content creators and streamers, with Razer's Synapse software providing additional features like spotlight focus. While the $150 price tag of the Kiyo V2 is higher than some basic webcams, the integrated AI capabilities and enhanced image quality may justify the cost for those looking to improve their video setup.
