This Amazon Fire TV Stick is getting a random name change

Amazon has renamed its Fire TV Stick 4K to the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus, with no changes to the device's features. The new name is meant to help customers differentiate it from the recently launched Fire TV Stick 4K Select, which sits at the lower end of Amazon's 4K stick lineup. The Fire TV Stick 4K Plus retains the same $49.99 price tag and offers 4K HDR output, Dolby Vision HDR, and Dolby Atmos audio. Amazon also has the higher-end Fire TV Stick Max, which adds Wi-Fi 6e, more storage, and the Fire TV Ambient Experience. Name changes for streaming devices and services have become more common in recent months, with Apple TV+ also being rebranded as simply Apple TV.
