The Pixel Watch 4 might charge via a wireless charging stand
The upcoming Pixel Watch 4 from Google might feature a new wireless charging system, according to leaked renders. Instead of charging through pogo pins like previous Pixel Watches, the Pixel Watch 4 could charge on a wireless charging stand, similar to the Apple Watch. The stand will likely power up the smartwatch through conductive metal contacts on the left side, opposite the watch's crown. This new charging method could offer several benefits, including 25% faster charging speed, room for new sensors, and a more repairable design. The Pixel Watch 4 is also rumored to have a brighter display and come in new color options, including black, silver, gold, and a blueish-gray "Moonstone." Google is expected to unveil the Pixel Watch 4 alongside new Pixel 10 phones on August 20.
