Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade hits the Switch 2 on January 22
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the first entry in the remake trilogy, is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on January 22, 2026. The game primarily takes place in the opening city of Midgar, with the overworld map exploration coming later in the sequel, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which has no Switch 2 release date yet. The Intergrade release includes the Episode Intermission DLC, which follows the ninja Yuffie on a mission to steal powerful items from the Shinra corporation.
