Federal authorities charged eight individuals in Michigan with antisemitic threats and violent acts. The accused, all in their early 20s, allegedly spray-painted threats, broke windows and used Hamas symbols to intimidate Jewish groups and officials. A group of college-aged activists were released on bond after they were charged earlier this week with engaging in a conspiracy to threaten University of Michigan leaders over their refusal to divest from Israel.
