Microsoft 365 Copilot bundles sales, service, and finance Copilots in October

Microsoft has announced that its sales, service, and finance Copilots will now be bundled into the Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription, starting in October. The move simplifies the company's Copilot offerings, with the entire package now available for $30 per user per month, down from the previous $50 per user per month for the combined services. Additionally, Microsoft is reportedly planning to use Anthropic's AI models for some features in Microsoft 365, as the company found that Anthropic's models outperformed OpenAI's GPT-5 in Excel and PowerPoint. This is seen as a significant admission that OpenAI's model has been disappointing compared to some of Anthropic's features. The company is also developing a new set of tools, called Agent 365, to manage AI agents and ensure the security and compliance requirements of businesses are met, which is expected to be announced at the upcoming Microsoft Ignite event.
