CCleaner 7 arrives with a new design and smarter PC cleaning features

Piriform has released CCleaner 7, the latest version of its popular Windows tune-up tool. The update brings a fresh design with a choice of light, dark, or automatic themes, and improved compatibility with newer PCs, including Arm64 devices. The uninstaller feature now uses a new engine to remove apps more reliably, allowing multiple apps to be uninstalled at once and automatically deleting orphaned files and remnants. Users can also temporarily remove applications to troubleshoot issues or test system performance and stability, then restore them later. The Disk Analyser feature has been revised to better detect duplicate files, displaying thumbnails of images and allowing users to decide which version to keep. Files can be moved to the Recycle Bin or permanently deleted. Overall, CCleaner 7 represents a significant step forward, with a modernized design, enhanced system compatibility, and extended cleaning features aimed at providing users with a clearer and more automated PC maintenance experience.
