Man charged with murder of Finbar Sullivan in Primrose Hill

The Metropolitan police said Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, of Southbury Road in Enfield, had been charged with murder on Sunday and was due to appear at Stratford magistrates court on Monday. A 25-year-old man who had been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released with no further action. Sullivan was stabbed in the north London park on Tuesday evening and pronounced dead at the scene. His father, Christopher Sullivan, said his son had gone to the park to use a new camera he had been given for his birthday. Another man, believed to be in his 20s, was also taken to hospital after being found nearby on Regent’s Park Road with stab wounds. His injuries were found not to be life-threatening.
