Alienware 16 Area-51 review: A fully retooled gaming mothership

The Alienware 16 Area-51 is a powerful gaming laptop that combines a revamped, distinctive design with flagship performance. Its standout features include a striking "Liquid Teal" color, a mechanical keyboard with customizable RGB lighting, and a unique "Cryo Chamber" that improves cooling. While the laptop is heavy and not very portable, it offers excellent gaming performance, with configurations ranging from $2,000 to $3,550. The display is bright and fast, but lacks additional options like 4K or higher refresh rates. Battery life is disappointing, lasting only around 4 hours. Overall, the Area-51 delivers a capable and stylish desktop-replacement gaming experience, despite its high price and limited portability.
