Google’s AI video generator is getting better editing and more audio

Google is enhancing its AI video generation tool, Flow, with new features that improve the realism and editing capabilities of the generated videos. The latest Veo 3.1 update allows users to adjust the shadows and lighting in their AI-generated videos, making them even more lifelike. Additionally, Flow now offers features like "Ingredients to Video," "Frames to Video," and "Scene Extension," which enable the generation of videos with accompanying audio. These new capabilities aim to make the AI-generated videos more seamless and indistinguishable from human-created content. Google also plans to introduce a feature that can remove objects from the videos, with the tool restructuring the background and scene to make it appear as if the object was never there. The Veo 3.1 update is currently available as part of a paid preview through the Gemini API to developers.
