A passenger aboard a Carnival Cruise Line ship died Monday morning after apparently falling from the balcony of her room while the vessel was sailing near Catalina Island. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 24-year-old Briana Miller. The incident occurred on the Carnival Firenze, which was off the Southern California coast when Miller went over the balcony of her stateroom and landed on a lower deck, the cruise line confirmed to Fox News Digital. Miller was traveling with family members, who alerted the ship’s crew, according to Carnival.
