The Vision Pro will get an iPad app in upcoming iPadOS update
Apple has announced that the dedicated Apple Vision Pro app will be available on iPad through the upcoming iPadOS 26.1 update later this fall. The Vision Pro app, which was previously only available on iPhone, allows users to browse and download content, such as apps, games, and educational resources, for the Vision Pro headset without needing to wear the device. The app features curated spatial content, news and tips for using the headset, as well as product information and account settings. Additionally, Apple has introduced an improved Vision Pro headset powered by the M5 chip, which offers faster web browsing, app loading, and navigation, as well as improved gaming performance and potentially longer battery life. The new Vision Pro headset is now available for pre-order, with shipping starting on October 22, and it still costs $3,499.
