RIVERHEAD, N.Y. — Keith Jesperson, the "Happy Face" serial killer who has been trading prison letters with Gilgo Beach killer Rex Heuermann, is warning that the hulking former architect could face a reality check when he's shipped upstate this month. Heuermann was sentenced Wednesday to the maximum possible sentence of three consecutive life sentences with no parole, followed by four consecutive sentences of 25 years to life in prison. "I’m responsible," he said in court before he was sentenced. "The words I would say have no meaning." Jesperson said before Heuermann's sentencing that prison will be no "cake walk."
