Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper to face each other in revamped US Open mixed doubles
Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper, two British tennis players, will face each other in the first round of the revamped US Open mixed doubles event. The event has been moved to take place before the main tournament, on August 19 and 20, and will feature a 16-pair field competing for a $1 million (£750,000) prize. Draper will partner with American player Jessica Pegula, while Raducanu will play alongside Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz. The Draper-Pegula pair have been seeded as the top pair, and will take on the wildcard duo of Raducanu and Alcaraz in the opening round.
