Valve Explains Why PayPay Doesn't Work In Some Countries
Valve has recently announced that the PayPal payment option is no longer available on Steam for certain currencies, including currencies other than EUR, CAD, GBP, JPY, and USD. This change is due to PayPal's acquiring bank terminating the processing of any transactions related to Steam in these currencies. Valve has stated that they are evaluating the addition of new payment methods for the affected customers and hope to offer PayPal as an option in the future, though the timeline is uncertain. In the meantime, customers are advised to use alternative payment methods available on Steam during checkout.
