Secret filming voyeur took my life, Guernsey victim says

A woman who was secretly filmed in her own home has said the experience has "taken over her life" and left her feeling unsafe. Lucy Domaille, from Guernsey, has waived her anonymity as the victim of a sexual offence to speak publicly about the impact voyeurism has had on her and her family. "I don't sleep," she said. "Every noise, every time the door opens, you just feel like someone is watching you 24/7. "It's taken over my life completely. It's consumed my mind." In October last year, Guernsey Police told Lucy she had been the victim of voyeurism. A man she had known socially for about 25 years had secretly filmed her getting out of the shower at her home, through a gap in her curtains as he crouched outside her window. For Lucy, the incident has occupied her every waking thought since. She said: "I'm just not the same person. It's soul-destroying, it's torturous." "When you go home, that is supposed to be the place that you feel safe, and I've lost that completely," she explained. "I'm obsessed. I don't sleep... I have lost all of that."
