The ROG Xbox Ally X handheld gaming device will cost you $1,000
Microsoft has announced the pricing for its new ROG Xbox Ally handheld gaming devices. The ROG Xbox Ally X, described as the "ultimate high-performance handheld," will cost $1,000. The more affordable ROG Xbox Ally, aimed at casual and enthusiast players, is priced at $600. The devices are powered by Windows 11 and allow users to play any Xbox game they've purchased, as well as PC games from any store. They can be used to stream Xbox games from your console or the Xbox Cloud Gaming service. At launch, Xbox will mark thousands of games as Handheld Optimized or Mostly Compatible. The handhelds will be available for pre-order in the US and various other markets starting October 16, 2023. Microsoft has also announced the availability of a SanDisk microSD card and a Seagate SSD designed specifically for the devices.
