Apple just dropped a security update for all its platforms
Apple has released a security update for all its platforms, including iOS 18.6.2, iPadOS 18.6.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.6.1. The update patches a vulnerability related to image processing, which could lead to memory corruption if a malicious image file is processed. Apple has stated that the vulnerability may have been exploited in "an extremely sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals." The update is available for devices running older firmware versions as well. Users are advised to update their devices as soon as possible to address this security issue.
