Critical Role’s The Legend of Vox Machina is getting a fifth and final season

The Critical Role series "The Legend of Vox Machina" has been renewed for a fifth and final season, ahead of the fourth season's release. The series, which is a collaboration between Critical Role, Amazon MGM, and Titmouse, follows the adventures of the ragtag group of heroes known as Vox Machina. The announcement of the fifth and final season was made during the Critical Role panel at San Diego Comic-Con, where the creators also unveiled a new series, "The Mighty Nein," which will focus on a different group of adventurers in the same fantastical world of Exandria. The voice cast, including Laura Bailey, Liam O'Brien, and Matthew Mercer, will reprise their roles in the final season, which is expected to conclude the story of Vox Machina. While fans may be disappointed to hear that the series is ending, the creators have expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to tell the complete story as envisioned, and their appreciation for the support of the fans, the "critters," and the original Kickstarter backers.
