PlayStation’s new wireless speakers are for your desktop
Sony has announced the Pulse Elevate, a new set of wireless speakers designed for use with PS5, PC, Mac, PlayStation Portal, and smartphones. These speakers promise "lifelike desktop audio" and include a built-in microphone for voice chat, as well as support for Sony's PlayStation Link technology for ultra-low latency. The speakers feature a rechargeable battery, allowing users to move them around freely, and come with charging docks for convenient recharging. The Pulse Elevate speakers will be available in black and white, with the white version being limited in supply. Sony has not yet provided a specific launch date, but plans to reveal more details in the coming months. The Pulse Elevate is the latest addition to Sony's growing lineup of Pulse-branded gaming audio accessories, which also includes the Pulse Explore wireless earbuds and the Pulse Elite headset.
