Nvidia says RTX 50-series Founders Edition cards are still being made
Nvidia has clarified that its GeForce RTX 50 series Founders Edition graphics cards are still in production, despite the temporary unavailability of these high-end models on its official store. The company spokesperson stated that these are limited edition products, and they go out of stock on their website from time to time, only to return when more units become available. The lack of availability for the most expensive consumer graphics cards, such as the RTX 5090 and 5080, has been attributed to several factors, including high demand from gamers and scalpers, supply issues as Nvidia also supplies GPUs to industrial clients, and the ongoing economic turmoil. However, the Founders Edition cards are not disappearing permanently, and users can expect them to return to the market when the supply chain issues are resolved.
