How Verge readers, and writers, are managing our kids’ screen time

The Pew Research Center conducted a study on how parents manage their children's (12 and under) screen time. The study found that 90% of parents said their children watch TV, 61% said their kids use smartphones, and 50% said their kids play on game consoles. While 42% of respondents admitted they could do better in managing their kids' screen time, 86% said they had rules around screens, even if they didn't always follow them. The article suggests that the results were not particularly surprising or enlightening, as managing children's screen time is a common challenge faced by parents today.
