The beloved Chevrolet Bolt is back but only for a 'limited run'
The Chevrolet Bolt, one of the most affordable electric vehicles (EVs) in America, has made a comeback with a refreshed 2027 model. The new Bolt will be available at dealerships in the first quarter of 2026, with a comfort trim starting at $29,990 and an LT base model at $28,995. The updated Bolt boasts an estimated range of 255 miles and faster charging speeds of up to 150kW, with the ability to charge from 10 to 80 percent in 26 minutes. The vehicle features an 11-inch driver display and an 11.3-inch infotainment display with Google built-in, but it lacks Apple CarPlay compatibility. However, the Bolt's return is only for a "limited run," as Chevrolet aims to retain the nameplate in its portfolio after receiving feedback from ending production.
