Britain's Got Talent: Liverpool's LMA 'buzzing' for semi-final show

A Liverpool dance group has said it would be an "honour to perform at the Royal Variety Performance" if they win this year's Britain's Got Talent (BGT). The 66-person dance troop from the Liverpool Media Academy (LMA) University, will be appearing live for the BGT semi-final on Saturday 19:00 BST hoping to secure a place in the final. "We were all buzzing to get through," dance group members Michael, 20, and Rose, 21, said. "That was quite a surreal moment. "We put so much effort into this, so to see us get the victory and win would be just the best - it would be an honour to perform at the Royal Variety." The group said viewers can expect a "bigger" performance than their televised audition, complete with props and more. They will be one of eight acts to perform live at the second of five semi-finals of the the ITV talent show. Two of the eight acts will then progress to the finals. The public vote will decide who the first act is, while the second will be chosen by judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and KSI. From there, ten acts will go head-to-head in the final on 30 May - competing for a £250,000 cash prize and a chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance
