Hades II is coming to Switch and Switch 2 on September 25
Supergiant, the developer of the acclaimed game Hades, has announced that the sequel, Hades II, will be released on September 25 for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The game has been in early access on PC for 16 months and has received very positive reviews from Steam users. The Switch and Switch 2 versions of Hades II will offer cross-save functionality with the PC versions, allowing players to continue their progress across platforms. The Switch 2 version will support 120 fps in TV mode, while the original Switch will run the game at 60 fps in 720p. The sequel shifts the focus from the protagonist Zagreus to his sister, Melinoë, princess of the underworld, who must confront the Titan of Time, Chronos. Hades II is expected to launch on other consoles, such as PlayStation and Xbox, at a later date.
