A Last Big Story is a stirring exploration of the journalistâs condition and his news instincts. Plus, a wholesome telling of the story of Indigenous Australian tennis legend Evonne Goolagong. Hereâs what to watch this evening 8pm, Channel 4This documentary starts out as a meditation on the Channel 4 newsreaderâs Alzheimerâs diagnosis â but the journalist in him hasnât departed quite yet. While Jon and his wife Precious are on holiday in Victoria Falls, he stumbles upon a mining disaster that has had almost no coverage in the media. His determination to get the tragedy into the news is stirring and very moving. Later, there are sets from Anastacia, Five, Rita Ora, Feeder and Calvin Harris, all warming up for a headline turn from the Sex Pistols â now Rotten-free but featuring the vocals of Frank Carter.
