Katy Perry Sings In Simlish During Recent Show
Katy Perry surprised her fans by singing her hit song "Last Friday Night" in Simlish, the fictional language used in the Sims video game series, during a recent concert. This is not the first time the singer has collaborated with the Sims franchise, as she was a prominent promotional partner for The Sims 3 in 2012, and the Showtime expansion pack featured a Simlish version of the same song. Other music artists, such as FKA Twigs, have also reinterpreted their work into Simlish for The Sims 4 expansion. While The Sims 5 is not in the works, EA plans to continue expanding the Sims ecosystem with new projects, including the upcoming official board game.
