This $7,999 robot will fold (some of) your laundry

Weave, a startup in the Bay Area, has developed a $7,999 robot named Isaac 0 that can fold laundry. The robot, which requires a $250 deposit, can fold a load of laundry in 30-90 minutes, but it has limitations - it cannot handle large items like blankets and bed sheets, nor can it deal with inside-out garments. The robot is not fully autonomous, as it requires teleoperators to assist with trickier folds, but Weave says its performance will improve over time. While the robot may be useful for those who hate folding laundry, its high cost and limited capabilities make it a niche product for now.
