Xbox and LG are bringing cloud gaming to cars

LG and Xbox are partnering to bring cloud gaming to select internet-connected vehicles. With an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, passengers will be able to stream games on their car's infotainment system and use a compatible Bluetooth controller to play titles like Don't Starve, Mafia: The Old Country, and Forza Horizon 5. However, the companies have not specified how they will ensure that drivers do not play games while the vehicle is in motion, as previous studies have shown that advanced infotainment systems can distract drivers. The feature is intended for passengers, with Xbox stating that it can be used during EV charging stops or long road trips to keep everyone entertained.
