Google will reveal more Gemini smart home plans and devices on October 1
Google is set to unveil more details about its "Gemini for Home" plans, including new Nest devices designed for the AI assistant, on October 1. Gemini for Home will replace Google Assistant and offer enhanced natural language commands and easier-to-use controls. It will be available in free and subscription versions, similar to Amazon's Alexa and Alexa+. The company teased the introduction of a new Nest camera that resembles their wired Nest security camera, as well as the possibility of an unknown Nest speaker that was previously hinted at during a recent Google live stream. Interested users can sign up for updates on the new Gemini for Home plans and devices.
