Xbox Cloud Gaming is now playable in the cheaper Game Pass tiers
Microsoft has made its Xbox Cloud Gaming service available to Game Pass Core and Standard subscribers, in addition to the previous Game Pass Ultimate tier. This move aligns with the company's strategy of focusing on selling Game Pass subscriptions rather than competing in the hardware market. The cloud gaming service allows users to stream games on a variety of devices, including Xbox consoles, PCs, mobile devices, smart TVs, and virtual reality headsets. This device-agnostic approach is part of Microsoft's broader shift towards a more inclusive gaming ecosystem. The company has also expanded the ability to stream games you already own, including PC games, and made recently played games follow you across devices. Additionally, Microsoft is partnering with ASUS to launch the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X handheld consoles, further diversifying its gaming offerings.
