Wyze, a budget home security camera brand, has released its first 4K security camera - the Wyze Cam Pan v4. The new camera offers several features, including 180-degree tilt coverage, 360-degree panning, IP65 weather protection, color night vision, two-way audio, and privacy mode. The Cam Pan v4 also boasts dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing for a faster and more reliable connection, as well as on-device AI-powered person, vehicle, and pet tracking. However, users will need to subscribe to a Wyze plan to unlock specific motion alerts for these tracked objects. Additionally, the camera includes a motion-activated spotlight with a built-in siren and a universal mount for flexible installation. The Cam Pan v4 supports local storage via microSD cards and offers various cloud storage plans ranging from $2.99 to $19.99 per month.
