AMD’s AI-powered FSR 4 upscaling is now available in most FSR 3.1 games

AMD's new 25.9.1 driver brings official support for its AI-powered FSR 4 upscaling technology to "most games that support FSR 3.1 with DirectX 12." FSR 4 is AMD's competitor to Nvidia's DLSS 4 and is touted as a "significant leap forward" over FSR 3, utilizing machine learning algorithms to intelligently compensate for lost pixels during low-resolution rendering. While FSR 4 support has been slowly rolling out to games since its initial launch, this driver update allows users to force FSR 4 in FSR 3.1 games by toggling an option in the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition app. This update expands the availability of FSR 4 to over 85 titles, providing gamers with high performance and crisp visuals.
