Google leaks its own new Nest Cams and Doorbell

Google appears to have accidentally leaked details about its upcoming Nest smart home products in its own Google Home app. The leaked products include the 3rd generation Nest Cam Indoor, 2nd generation Nest Cam Outdoor, and 3rd generation Nest Doorbell. While the physical designs of the new products seem similar to their predecessors, the leaked information suggests they will feature upgrades such as 2K video resolution and new color options. Additionally, the products are expected to run Google's latest Gemini for Home AI assistant, rather than the older Google Assistant. The leak also did not include information about the rumored Gemini smart speaker, which was previously teased by Google. The company is expected to unveil these new Nest products, as well as potentially the Gemini speaker, at its hardware event on October 1st.
